How sugaring works
Sugar, lemon, water
If you're searching for waxing in Chilliwack, sugaring is my answer to it. Sugaring, also called sugar waxing, uses a natural paste made from sugar, lemon and water, with no resins. It's applied at body temperature and removes hair in the direction of growth.

Let it grow
Hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice, about 1/8 inch. If you've been shaving, wait 10 to 14 days.
Come clean and dry
Free of lotions or oils. Light exfoliation 24 hours before can help. On Accutane or using retinol? Tell me first.
Stay smooth
Most people stay smooth for 3 to 4 weeks. Then rebook, and it gets easier each time.

How long does my hair need to be for sugaring?
Hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice, about 1/8 inch or longer. If it's your first time or you've been shaving, wait 10 to 14 days before your appointment for best results.
Does sugaring hurt?
