What to expect
Before, during and after
Leave it for two weeks
Hair needs to be about the length of a grain of rice. No shaving or close trimming for 10 to 14 days.
Shower, no lotion
Clean, dry skin on the day.
In and out
A back is booked for 35 minutes and a chest for 45. I use a paste of sugar, lemon and water at body temperature, and remove the hair in the direction it grows.
Afterwards
A loose shirt, and 24 hours before the gym, the pool or the hot tub.
IPL for men
If you'd rather work on reducing the hair than keep removing it, I offer IPL for men's backs, chests and stomachs, as a single session or a series.

Is it awkward?
Not here. It's a professional appointment like any other, and I'm easy to talk to.
Does sugaring hurt more for men?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Most clients find sugaring far gentler than traditional waxing, because the paste sticks to the hair, not your skin. The first visit is the one you'll notice most.
How long will it last?
Most people stay smooth for 3 to 4 weeks. With consistent appointments, hair grows back finer and slower over time.
Can I book back and chest together?
Yes. Use the visit builder on the prices page to see the time and total, then book both.
Is sugaring for men the same as men's waxing?
It removes the same hair. I use a paste of sugar, lemon and water instead of wax, at body temperature, and take it off in the direction the hair grows. Chest, back, arms and buttocks can be booked online.
Do you offer a manzilian?
No. I do any service for men that I do for women, except Brazilians.
