How Sweet Sugar Smooth handles your information. Last updated October 2026.
The short version
This website doesn't have forms and doesn't ask you for anything. Bookings happen on Fresha, and health information for IPL stays with your booking there. If you call or email me, I use what you tell me to answer you and to look after your appointment, and for nothing else.
What this website collects
I don't run analytics on this site at the moment. If that changes, this page will say so.
The company that hosts the site, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
There are no advertising pixels and no session recording on this site.
Booking and health information
When you book, you leave this website and go to Fresha (fresha.com). Fresha's own privacy policy covers what you enter there, including your contact details and payment information.
For IPL, I ask for a medical history and a consent form. Those are kept with your booking in Fresha. I don't copy them onto this website or into any marketing system.
Who helps me run things
Google (my Google listing), Vercel (website hosting), Fresha (booking) and Hello Bella (the team that looks after my website, my Google listing and my client messages). Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country.
Texts and emails from me
If you're a client, you may get appointment reminders and the occasional message from me. You can tell me to stop at any time and I will.
