Brazilian sugar waxing in Chilliwack
Say goodbye to razors and bumps. A Brazilian sugar wax in my private Chilliwack studio takes all or most of the hair, front to back, with a paste made of sugar, lemon and water. What a Brazilian sugaring includes
Top, labia and the strip between the cheeks. Leave a landing strip or a triangle, or go fully bare: it's totally your call. The paste goes on at body temperature and comes off in the direction your hair grows, with no cloth strips.
First Brazilian with me? Book the first-visit appointment, which gives us 40 minutes. Coming back for regular maintenance? Book the 30-minute follow-up. The sugaring itself usually takes me about 15 minutes, and most clients come back about once a month.

How a Brazilian appointment goes
Let it grow
Hair needs to be about the length of a grain of rice, roughly 1/8 inch. If you've been shaving, wait 10 to 14 days.
Come clean and dry
No lotions or oils on the day. A light exfoliation the day before helps. Wear something loose to go home in.
On the table
I cleanse the area, work the paste on and flick it off with the direction of growth. Tell me if you need a breather; we'll probably be talking the whole time anyway.
Afterwards
Skip the workout, the pool and the hot tub for 24 hours. Then rebook: staying on a monthly rhythm keeps each visit easier than the last.

Does a Brazilian sugar wax hurt?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different, but most of my clients find sugaring far gentler than traditional waxing. The paste sticks to the hair, not your skin, which means less irritation and fewer ouch moments. The first visit is the one you'll notice most.
Can I get a Brazilian while I'm pregnant?
Yes, I see pregnant clients. One of my Google reviews is from a client who came in at eight months and had never done anything like it before. Tell me how far along you are so I can make you comfortable, and check with your doctor or midwife if you have any concerns.
What's the difference between a basic bikini, a French bikini and a Brazilian?
A basic bikini tidies what falls outside your underwear. A French bikini takes more from the sides and top and leaves a strip or triangle. A Brazilian takes everything, front to back, unless you ask me to leave something.
How long does a Brazilian last?
Sugaring removes hair from the root, so most people stay smooth for 3 to 4 weeks. With consistent appointments, hair grows back finer and slower over time.
What is the Bush Balm vajacial?
It's an add-on: a hydrating hydrogel mask that goes on after your hair removal. It adds about 15 minutes. You can add it when you book, or ask me on the day.
Do you do Brazilians for men?
No. I sugar men's backs and chests, and I'm happy to talk about other areas, but I don't offer Brazilians for men.
Is Brazilian sugaring the same as a Brazilian wax?
It removes the same hair as a Brazilian wax. What's different is the paste: sugar, lemon and water, at body temperature, taken off in the direction the hair grows, with no cloth strips. If you've only ever had a Brazilian wax, book the first-visit appointment so we have the extra time.

The first 24 hours

The studio is in Sardis, Chilliwack. I work by appointment only, and you'll get the address and directions with your booking confirmation. Clients come from Sardis, Vedder, Promontory, Yarrow, Greendale, Rosedale, and even as far as Hope and Agassiz.
