Most people stay smooth for 3 to 4 weeks, because sugaring removes the hair from the root. With consistent appointments, it grows back finer and slower over time.
Is sugaring permanent?
No. Sugaring is not permanent hair removal: the hair grows back. What changes with consistent appointments is how it grows back, which is finer and slower.
If you're after something longer-term, I also offer IPL hair removal, as a single session or a series.
Does it last the same on a Brazilian, legs or face?
My answer is the same for every area: most people stay smooth for 3 to 4 weeks. Hair doesn't grow at the same pace on everyone, so treat that as a guide.
How often should I book?
Most people rebook every 3 to 4 weeks. Staying on a regular rhythm is what makes hair grow back finer and slower.
Can I shave in between?
You can, but then you wait. After shaving I need 10 to 14 days of growth before I can sugar you again, because the hair has to be at least the length of a grain of rice, about 1/8 inch.
What helps it last
- Keeping your appointments 3 to 4 weeks apart.
- Exfoliating gently between visits, to help keep hairs from getting trapped as they grow back.
- For the first 24 hours after a visit: no workouts, no pools or hot tubs, and loose-fitting clothes.
Times and prices for every area are on my price list.
